Description and Ethnobotany

| Stems | The pseudobulbs are grooved, many-angled and widen out towards the top, growing up to 30cm in length. |
| Flowers | The flowers are borne on pendulous, axillary racemes. The flower sepals and petals are yellow. The flower lip is yellow with a frimbriate margin and the inner part of the lip is orange. The flowers measure about 5cm wide and are fragrant. |
