Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form A shrub, it has an erect growth form. 
Foliage The  5 to 7 nerved leaves are arranged in opposite pairs and are covered with white hairs. The leaves are ovate in shape with an acute apex and a cordate leaf base. 
Flowers The bisexual flowers are borne on panicles and are purple in colour.
