Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form Herbaceous plant up to 50 cm tall (occasionally up to 75 cm tall).
Foliage Leaves asymmetrical, 7-25 cm long by 2-5 cm wide, base color mid-dark green with pink - pinkish purple spots on upper surface of leaf blades, under surface and petioles red. 
Flowers Flowers pale green to white or pale pink.
Habitat On limestone rocks and crevices
Cultivation It prefers a high humidity environment and moist, but well-drained media, such as a terrarium with sphagnum moss and perlite.
