WSQ Courses for Workers (Level 1)

The Worker in the landscape industry performs tasks that are well defined, primarily outdoor and in a standardised work context, to support landscape work in accordance with instructions and under supervision. Depending on the sub-sector, the Worker may perform different tasks.

The Arboriculture Worker perform tasks relating to tree planting and maintenance.

The Landscape Worker in the Horticulture and Turf Maintenance sub-sector is responsible for maintenance of landscape sites and perform tasks such as watering, fertilising, weeding, plant pruning and grass and/or turf cutting.

The Nursery Worker is involved in plant propagation and production activities, as well as assisting in the set-up of nursery displays and maintenance of the nursery.
