Description

Description Fur is long and soft, pale yellowish-brown to greyish-brown in colour. Noseleaf yellowish. Noseleaf consists of rounded, horseshoe-shaped front section. Ears and wing membranes are yellowish brown.

Ecological Notes This nocturnal, insectivorous bat inhabits the under-storey of forests. It roosts among vegetation, under large leaves.

Distribution In Singapore, recorded from the Central Catchment Nature Reserve and Pulau Tekong. Distributed in India, Myanmar, Thailand, the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Borneo and Java.
