Description Head distinct from body. Body slender, light brown above with a series of dark brown saddle blotches; ventral scales keeled, dorsal scales smooth.

Ecological Notes Found in mature forest where it seems to be both arboreal and terrestrial and nocturnal in habits. It is known to feed on lizards.

Distribution In Singapore, known only from the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and Central Catchment Nature Reserve. Occurs on the Malay Peninsula and Sumatra.
