Description
Description | Body covered in weakly keeled overlapping scales, symmetrical arrangement of large scales on top of the head. Body olive above with a series of white spots with blackish edges, bright green below. Hatchlings black above with narrow red bands and a uniformly red tail, the red gradually changes into yellow and green with growth. |

Ecological Notes | Known to inhabit mature forest where it is largely terrestrial and diurnal in habits and feeds mainly on small invertebrates. Gives birth to live young. |
