Description

Size 41 mm
Description Thorax is mottled yellow and abdomen is slender and coloured mostly red, except for the last two segments, which are black.  Males and females look identical.

Ecology, Habitat & Location

Ecological Notes Males are territorial.
Habitats Forest, Terrestrial
Distribution This species is more associated with forest habitats and likes to perch in shady areas. One park where it can be found is Kent Ridge. It has also been seen in SBG.
