Description
| Description | Black and white plumage and long, erect crest are distinctive features. Has broad white band on dark tail. Head and upperparts black. Underparts white with black streaks on breast and black bars on rest of underparts. Underwings whitish with contrasting blackish bands. In juvenile, upperparts brown; underparts buffy; tail brown with 4-5 dark bands. |
