Description

Description Easily recognised by pale greenish colour and white markings on the abdomen. This is also a common dragonfly in Singapore and also one of the more ferocious species. The females are of the same appearance as males.

Ecological Notes This dragonfly is a fast and strong flyer. It preys on other dragonflies.
Habitats Parks & Gardens
Distribution Although quite common in our parks, this species is usually not numerous where it occurs. Places where it can be seen include Kent Ridge Park, Toa Payoh Town Park and Bishan Park 1.
Nature Reserves Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, Labrador Nature Reserve, Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve
