Description

Description Male has black on the upperside with a series of large whitish-yellow spots running across the hindwing forming a band. Female has several forms. The female mimics the poisonous Common Rose for protection from its predators.

Ecology, Habitat & Location

Ecological Notes The caterpillar host plants are the Pomelo (Citrus grandis) and Indian Curry Leaf plant (Murraya koenigii).
