Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form It is a herbaceous climber.
Foliage Its leaves are light green and heart-shaped. Areas along the veins are dark-green.
Flowers Its inflorescence is borne opposit to the leaf. The male inflorescence is slender and grows about 5-8 cm long. The female inflorescence is about 1.5-2.5 cm long.
Fruits Its fruit are globose drupes.
Habitat Found in wet areas in forests.
