Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form An intergeneric hybrid orchid, it was made from a cross between Vanda tricolor and Arachnis Maggie Oei. It exhibits monopodial growth and mature specimens can grow more than 1.5 m in height.
Flowers The flower tepals are yellow with brown spots while the lip is pink in colour.
Cultivation Specimens will need a structure for support as they grow taller.
Etymology The hybrid was named after the daughter of breeder A J Braga, the Minister of Health in the colonial government of Singapore.  This hybrid was registered in 1957.
