Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form An epiphyte, it has an erect and monopodial growth form. 
Flowers Large, star-shaped flowers are composed of bright yellow tepals (6 cm tall, 5.5 cm wide). The blooms darken as they mature. The inflorescence (up to 0.6 m tall) is composed of 10-15 flowers arranged in a raceme (stalked flowers arranged along 1 main axis).
Etymology Hybrid orchid formed by crossing Arachnis hookerana with Ascocenda Madame Kenny.
