Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form Perennial herb with a compact rosette growth form.
Foliage Smooth, glossy leaves are linear with entire leaf margin. They are lime green with red tips and a network of red splotches.
Flowers Small, white flowers are produced in the center of the plant. Flowers are composed of 3 triangular petals which taper to a narrow tip.
Cultivation The plant will be more compact with more intense leaf colour when grown under bright, but indirect light. Protect from full sun which may bleach some of the leaf colour.
