Common Name: | Dark Posy |
Name
Description
Description | In the Dark Posy, the space between the two black stripes forming the cell-end bar is white, and not filled in with black, as in the Common Posy. To an inexperienced observer, this species looks similar to its close cousin, The Common Posy (Drupadia ravindra moorei). The key in distinguishing the Dark Posy is in the markings on the undersides of the hindwings. |
