Description
| Description | The distinctive yellow colour of the undersides of the females of this Rapala makes it quite distinct when it makes its appearance. The males are brownish red above, with a broad black forewing border, and appears purple-shot in a side light. The females are brown above and distinctly yellow underside. There is the usual Rapala signature lobe on the hindwings, and a pair of threadlike white-tipped tails. |
