Distribution | Found in most part of the world. The East Asian-Australasian population breeds in East Asia and in Southeast Asia to as far south as Thailand. A rare winter visitor and passage migrant to Sungei Buloh. The latest record was a juvenile recorded in 2005. Found at shallow prawn ponds, marshes, waterlogged grassland, reed beds. |
