Description

Description Males have blue body and broad metallic bluish-black area at the base of the hindwings. Females are slightly larger and slightly darkened wing tips and a light brown body with distinctive dark banding on its abdomen.

Habitats Forest, Freshwater Swamp Forest
Distribution This is a strictly forest dragonfly. It is very common in the nature reserves, found perching on tree trunks.
