Growth Form Shrub like Begonia to 1.5m tall
Foliage Leaves light - mid green, to 2cm long. Edge of leaves tipped with short hairs.
Stems Stems succulent, reddish.
Flowers Inflorescence pendent (downward hanging), flowers pink to rose colored.
Similar Begonia foliosa is a similar looking species which has much smaller leaves (1-2cm long).
Cultivation Prefers a cooler growing temperature
Etymology The specific epithet 'fuchsioides' refers to the downward pointing flowers, which resembles the blooms of the Fuchsia spp.
