| Description | The males are a deep purple above and unmarked, whilst the females are brown with a hint of bluish-purple at the wing bases. The underside is a dull greyish-brown with white striae. There is an orange crowned black eyespot at the tornal area of the hindwing. The species possesses a fine white-tipped tail. |
