Description

Description Distinctive blue markings shaped like two telephone handsets facing each other on dorsal side of male thorax. Female is almost similar to male but has less defined 'telephone' shaped thoracic markings. Blue abdominal tip found on male but not on female.

Ecology, Habitat & Location

Ecological Notes Found on low vegetation along shady and sluggish, often muddy forest streams. 
Habitats Forest, Freshwater
Distribution Found in Peninsular Malaysia, and possibly also Sumatra.
