Description

Description Body cylindrical with smooth dorsal scales. Dark brown above with yellow spots on neck and fore part of body; underside orange; dorsal scales smooth.

Ecology, Habitat & Location

Ecological Notes Inhabits mature forest where it is mainly terrestrial, but known to climb shrubs. It feeds on lizards and insects but very little else is known.

Distribution Occurs in the Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Borneo and Java. In Singapore, it is known from the Central Nature Reserves.
