Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form Cane begonia to 1.5m tall
Foliage Leaves to 30cm in length, base color of leaves dull olive green on areas bordering the veins; leaf blade with bright pink markings.
Similar Differs from the other subspecies Begonia brevirimosa ssp. brevirimosa in flowers and seedpod, and the intense pink markings occupying most of the area on the leaf blades.
