Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form Compact herbaceous plant with rosette growth form.
Foliage Oval, softly hairy leaves are arranged in a rosette.
Taxonomy This cultivar is sometimes referred to as Streptocarpus 'Pretty Turtle' in the horticultural trade, but it is actually a cultivar of the species Primulina dryas.
Cultivation This cultivar grows best in bright, indirect light. Plant in well-drained soil and let the top 2-3 cm layer of soil to dry before re-watering. Keep the leaves dry to prevent mold or spots caused by bacteria. Apply a balanced fertiliser with equal parts nitrogen, phosphorous and potassium every 2-4 weeks.
