East Coast Park

Notices

 

  1. An event will be held at East Coast Park, Area D5 (KPMG Wellness Garden, Carpark D5 and areas around the pond and beachfront) on 15 September 2023, 8am - 12pm. Carpark congestion and event noise are to be expected during this period.
  2. C4 Fitness Corner will be partially closed for improvement works till early-October. The 3-Gen Fitness Equipment remains open for use.  
  3. Sections of the Park Connector along East Coast Park, Area B1, will be temporarily closed for resurfacing works till end-September 2023. The adjacent footpath remains open. Cyclists are advised to dismount and push their bicycles when crossing over to the footpath.
  4. Casuarina Grove Lawn at Area F2, will be partially closed for coastal protection works till end-September 2023.
  5. Both skating bowls at Area F1, Xtreme SkatePark, will be closed for repair works till end-Dec 2023. The skating circuit remains open.
  6. Carpark F2 is partially closed for operational use for PUB’s drainage upgrading works of Area F2 canal and Area F3 canal till Q4 2023. PA Water-Venture remains open.
  7. The wooden deck at Raintree Cove (Area C4), will be closed for upgrading. Expected completion will be December 2023.
  8. An intertidal area is a fragile habitat. Find out more about our intertidal area, and what to do when you explore such areas.
  9. Box jellyfish have been spotted in Singapore waters in recent months. For your own safety, please take precautions before heading to one of our beaches. More information on box jellyfish can be found here.

Things To Do

  • Barbecuing

    Fancy cooking up a feast and dining with fantastic views of the sea? You can hold a barbecue with your friends and family at the one of the 80 BBQ pits located across the entire East Coast Park. Click on the link below to book a barbecue pit.

  • Camping

    There are designated areas (Areas D, excluding Cyclist Park, and G) within East Coast Park where you can set up a tent temporarily or overnight. To do so, you need to apply for a camping permit first. (You need to have a valid residential address and ID number in Singapore to apply for a camping permit.)

  • Cycling & Skating

    With a Park Connector Network that stretches about 12.5km along the south-eastern coastline, East Coast Park is a cyclist’s and skater’s haven. Check out Learner’s and Advanced Circuit at Cyclist Park, Area D. If you like skateboarding, stop by the Xtreme SkatePark@East Coast to try out the ramps there.

  • Dog Run

    Fun with your Pets

    With a Dog Run and Bird Perch at Parkland Green, you do not have to look any further to have a fun day out with your pets. Let your dogs off-leash safely in the Dog Run to explore freely and socialise with other dogs. Showcase your trained birds at the Bird Perch designed and built with the community.

  • Nature playgarden

    Nature Playgarden

    Cyclist Park Nature Playgarden is a playground inspired by outdoor adventure that features a log trail, sand pit and 1.5m climbing log. If you are looking for a respite at East Coast Park, Raintree Cove offers a naturalistic play area that double up as benches made from salvaged wood. Come check out our nature playgardens to create your unique adventure play experience.

  • Dining

    Looking to dine somewhere by the waterside? East Coast Park offers a wide range of dining options, from restaurants to cafes and even a food centre. Make a date with your family or friends, head on down to spend a day at the park and choose from one of the many dining options for dinner.

  • Fishing

    One of the favorite pastimes of park users at East Coast Park is fishing. With numerous jetties across the park, the most iconic one being the 250m long Bedok Jetty, there are plenty of spots for you to fish. Come on down with your own rods and remember to practise good fishing etiquette.

  • Children's Playground at Marine Cove

    Fun at Children’s Playground

    The large playground at Marine Cove comprises of a range of play equipment suitable for children of varying ages, including a three-storey Play Tower modelled after a lighthouse!

  • Photography

    There is always something at East Coast Park for shutterbugs – if you enjoy photographing people interacting in nature, diverse wildlife and plants, or the beautiful horizon and coastline, East Coast Park has that and more to offer.

  • Relax at Raintree Cove

    Relax at Raintree Cove

    Find respite from the crowds at Raintree Cove and enjoy the expansive vistas of the sea. Featuring the only pavilion with a green roof in East Coast Park and various spaces for relaxing, friends and families can enjoy a quiet moment here.

  • Sandcastle Building

    Have fun in the sun and mould majestic castles in the sand. There is a sand play area at Area E where you can let your creativity wild and build your own sandcastles alongside other enthusiasts and families.

  • Water Sports

    Perks of visiting a park located right by the coast is the chance to engage in numerous types of adrenaline-pumping water and sea sports. Get splashy and try your hand at something out of the ordinary.
