Community in Nature Schools Award

Started in 2020, the biennial Community in Nature Schools Award recognises and celebrates the works of schools, and motivates educators and students to contribute to local biodiversity conservation efforts.

It is part of the Community in Nature initiative which connects and engages communities in conserving Singapore’s natural heritage.

Objectives

The award serves to:

  • Recognise proactive partners from various educational institutions that have contributed to biodiversity conservation.
  • Encourage stakeholders from the education sector to take on a more active role in conserving our biodiversity.
  • Provide a networking platform for schools to share and exchange biodiversity-related knowledge and experiences.

There are 3 award categories:
