Happy Pets, Happy People

Each year since 2015, every Primary 4 student is given a Happy Pets, Happy People jigsaw puzzle depicting different pets and their respective care and needs.

The programme is supported by the Garden City Fund (GCF), NParks' registered charity and IPC.

Learning objectives

Tailored to complement the Character and Citizenship Education (CCE) lesson (Unit 5 - An Open Mind, Lesson 3), the puzzle set aims to:

  • Educate and promote the importance of animal welfare.
  • Teach responsible and considerate pet ownership, reinforcing the values of care and responsibility.
  • Foster a humane and gracious society for all to co-exist in greater harmony within our City in Nature.
