Our marine friends

Launched in 2022, "Our Marine Friends" was developed to help primary school students gain a deeper appreciation for our local marine animals and habitats.

Supported by Aramco through the Garden City Fund (GCF), NParks' registered charity and IPC, this educational resource includes an activity book that can be downloaded and printed, as well as videos on marine life that can be found in coral reefs and the intertidal zone.

Learning objectives

These resources serve as supplementary materials for students to learn more about our native marine animals and their role in the ecosystem. The activity book and videos can be used to raise awareness and instil a sense of stewardship for the marine environment or to complement the learning outcomes for the Primary 3 topic on “Diversity of living and non-living things” under the PSLE Science Syllabus.
