Thank you for registering your geographical investigation (GI) field based studies with us. Schools interested in conducting their field based studies at our parks/ nature reserves/gardens will have to complete the form below. This is useful in case we need to advise you of any park closure or if it clashes with another booking. A permit is not required for all the parks managed by NParks, except for Singapore Botanic Gardens (SBG) and nature reserves.

For SBG and nature reserves only
Schools interested to conduct their geographical investigation in the Singapore Botanic Gardens and nature reserves can apply for a permit using this same form.
The permit application form must be submitted at least 1 month before date of activity. If approved, the permit will be sent to you within 7 working days. You are required to present your permit on the day of the activity when requested by NParks’ officers.
Teachers are encouraged to read through the Parks & Trees Act 2005 and Trail Etiquette and ensure that all participants are made aware of the rules and regulations as well as trail etiquette before the start of activity.
