Parks for Health Framework

About the Framework

Launched in 2025, the Parks for Health Framework further enhances citizens’ access to greenery and its restorative benefits. Through active programming and partnerships with healthcare institutions, relevant agencies, and community partners, residents/patients can look forward to nature-based programming that will support their physical activity and emotional well-being needs, as well as promote mental restoration.

Explore examples of the diverse therapeutic landscapes listed below:

We collaborate with healthcare institutions and relevant agencies to seamlessly integrate parks and greenery within healthcare establishments and residential estates. One such example is the Woodlands Healing Garden

Together, we also offer diverse activities and programmes designed to foster social connections and promote mental wellness.

For professionals seeking to enhance their expertise in urban greenery, the Centre for Urban Greenery and Ecology (CUGE) offers a comprehensive suite of educational programmes such as workshops and courses on urban greenery, landscaping, horticulture, and environmental design.

Studies conducted have documented the well-being benefits of diverse therapeutic landscapes. Building on this, we aim to continue to better understand how greenery beyond these therapeutic landscapes impacts public health.
