Singapore, 9 July 2026 – The garden displays ‘Between the Lines’, designed by Emily and Mark Cook from the United States of America for the Show Gardens: All-Stars Edition, and ‘Quantum Fair 3026’, created by community gardeners from Singapore’s West District for the Singapore Gardeners’ Cup, were the crowd favourites at the Singapore Garden Festival (SGF) 2026, receiving the People’s Choice Award and Community’s Choice Award respectively.
More than 2,400 visitors cast their votes for their favourite displays between 4 July and 8 July 2026. Close to 40 displays were in the running for the People’s Choice and Community’s Choice Awards. These included competitive garden and floral displays from signature SGF competitions such as Show Gardens: All-Stars Edition, My Living Space Competition, Floral Windows to the World Championship, Landscape Display Challenge, and Singapore Gardeners’ Cup.

"Between the Lines" captured the hearts of visitors and won designers Emily and Mark Cook (United States of America) the People’s Choice Award. The garden invites visitors to explore it from multiple angles, revealing a different perspective of each plant, structure and elevation depending on where one stands.
Emily and Mark Cook are participants of the Show Gardens: All-Stars Edition, which brought together eight previous “Best of Show” winners to vie for the prestigious Pinnacle Award.
“QUANTUM FAIR 3026” BY COMMUNITY GARDENERS FROM SINGAPORE’S WEST DISTRICT WINS COMMUNITY’S CHOICE AWARD

Created by community gardeners in Singapore’s West District for the Singapore Gardeners’ Cup, "Quantum Fair 3026" features a vintage-style carnival set a thousand years in the future. Nestled among the lush landscaping are robots living in harmony with nature, amid retro rides reimagined with lush planting and sustainable materials. The garden's centrepiece is a ferris wheel that “teleports” visitors between two contrasting biomes, while a UFO sculpture with succulents and aloes and a hot air balloon sculpture integrating upcycled materials immerse visitors in the joy of a futuristic carnival.
One lucky voter of the People’s Choice Award walked away with a two-night stay at Pan Pacific Singapore, while one lucky voter of the Community’s Choice Award received a Daikin Air Purifier. Winners will be notified via their mobile numbers to collect their prizes.
The Singapore Garden Festival is ongoing until 12 July, from 10am to 10pm. Tickets to SGF can be purchased on-site at ticketing counters at the Meadow Carpark, Meadow Bridge, Flower Dome and online at: https://sgf.nparks.gov.sg/tickets/.
