  • Advisories pertaining to COVID-19

    In line with the Multi-Ministry Taskforce’s latest advisory, please see the below updates for our gardens, parks, and nature reserves

    Social and recreational activities
    Social and recreational activities must be kept to a group size of up to 2 persons. You are required to wear a mask, except when engaging in strenuous exercises or consuming food, drink or medication.

    F&B outlets
    The F&B outlets in our gardens and parks are open for take-away and dine-in for up to 2 persons if all are vaccinated, subject to the latest safe management measures by Enterprise Singapore.

    Sports and outdoor exercise activities
    If you are engaging in sports and physical exercises, please do so individually or up to groups of 2 persons maximum, and observe a safe distance of at least 2 metres between individuals.

    Organised outdoor exercise classes can be conducted in groups of 2, up to a maximum of 50 persons (including participants and the instructor/assistant) or the approved venue capacity, whichever is lower, with no inter-mingling between groups.

    Instructors/trainers of all organised outdoor exercise classes (with more than 2 persons including participants and instructor/trainer) will need to register the class with SportSG and submit an application to NParks at least 1 week in advance, so as to ensure there is ample space in our parks and gardens for safe distancing. Instructors/trainers must ensure that the necessary safe management measures are put in place.

    Marriage solemnisations and receptions
    Marriage solemnisations may continue in selected function spaces in our parks/gardens, in groups of 2 persons, for up to 1,000 persons if all attendees are fully vaccinated or possess a valid Pre-Event Test (PET), or up to 50 persons without PET.

    Wedding receptions can continue, with up to 250 persons, if all attendees are fully vaccinated or possess a valid Pre-Event Test (PET), with a group size of up to 5 persons as a special concession. This includes the couple, but excludes the solemniser and vendors, subject to safe management measures and the venue’s capacity. More info here.

    Closure of facilities
    The following facilities are closed:

    • Campsites and BBQ pits
    • Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park - Water play area
    • East Coast Park - Wading pool and jet fountain at Coastal PlayGrove
    • Fort Canning Park - Wading pool
    • Jurong Lake Gardens - Clusia Cove
    • Sembawang Hot Spring Park - Hot spring stations
    • Singapore Botanic Gardens – Photosynthesis Play Area at Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden

    Filming and Photography
    For filming and photography in our gardens, parks and nature reserves, please submit an online application here. Requests will be assessed based on factors such as the location, proposed filming hours, and whether safe-distancing measures can be put in place. Production companies should also comply with the guidelines by the Infocomms Media Development Authority .

    Organised groups/activities
    Applications for hiking permits to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, Central Catchment Nature Reserve, and the surrounding Nature Parks are suspended until further notice. For other parks and gardens, group tours are limited to 20 attendees, with maximum 2 persons per group.

    Some of our parks, carparks and facilities such as shelters, hardcourts, and lawns could be closed temporarily to ensure ample space for safe distancing.

  • Maintenance works of Forest Walk at Telok Blangah Hill Park

    Forest Walk is undergoing maintenance works. Expected date of completion is 30 November 2021. The bridge remains accessible.

  • Slope stabilisation works at Telok Blangah Heights

    18 Aug 2021 - 31 Dec 2023

    A stretch of slope along Telok Blangah Heights (facing Block 60 Telok Blangah Heights) is undergoing slope stabilisation works. Expected date of completion is end December 2023.

  • Development works at Changi Boardwalk

    18 Aug 2021 - 30 Jun 2022

    A section of Changi Boardwalk is closed for development works from 1 September 2020. Visitors can continue to access the remaining sections of the boardwalk.

  • Temporary closure of Black Crawler Mountain Bike Trail at Chestnut Nature Park

    18 Aug 2021 -

    The Black Crawler Mountain Bike Trail at Chestnut Nature Park is closed from 26 August until further notice.

  • Infrastructure improvements along Whampoa Park Connector (along Bendemeer Road)

    To facilitate connectivity and create a more seamless walking and cycling experience, URA will be carrying out infrastructure improvements along the Whampoa Park Connector (along Bendemeer Road)  from 20 Sep 2021 to 31 Mar 2023.   • Maintenance works of the Activities Zone of the Therapeutic Garden at HortPark

    Please note that the Activities Zone of the Therapeutic Garden will be closed for maintenance works from 7 September to 31 October 2021.

  • Temporary closure of part of Dairy Farm Loop at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve

    The Dairy Farm Loop at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve is closed from 25 August until further notice.

  • Temporary closure of the section of the footpath in Pasir Ris Park Area 3

    18 Aug 2021 - 31 Dec 2021

    A section of the footpath in Pasir Ris Park Area 3 is closed for improvement works from 27 September 2021 to 31 December 2021. Please use the alternative paths available. More information can be found here

  • Temporary Closure of a section of Choa Chu Kang PCN

    A section of Choa Chu Kang PC is closed for LTA's upgrading works from 4 October 2021 to Q1 2025. Please see the map for the alternative route.
