  • Advisories pertaining to COVID-19 (Phase 2)

    In line with the Multi Ministry Taskforce’s latest advisory for Phase 2, please see the below updates for our gardens, parks and nature reserves.

    If you are heading to our parks, please do so in a group of not more than 5 people. Please observe a safe distance of at least one metre between members of the group, as well as with other visitors.

    Social and recreational activities such as having picnics, photography, taichi, kite-flying, or playing ball games, will be permitted but within a group size of maximum 5 people. You are required to wear a mask, except when engaging in strenuous exercises or consuming food, drink or medication.

    If you are engaging in sports and physical exercises, do ensure a group size of 5 people or less and that a safe distance of at least 2 metres between individuals is observed.

    For organised outdoor exercise classes of more than 5 people, with effect from 1 September, instructors/trainers will need to register with SportSG and submit an application to NParks at least 1 week in advance, so as to ensure there is ample space in our parks and gardens for safe distancing. Instructors/trainers will also need to ensure that the necessary safe management measures are being put in place.

    All gardening activities at Community in Bloom gardens including allotment gardens will be limited to groups of up to five persons each. Gardeners must wear masks at all times and observe safe distancing measures.

    We have reopened the following facilities:

    • Beaches
    • Car parks in our parks, gardens and nature reserves
    • Dog runs
    • Hot spring stations at Sembawang Hot Spring Park
    • Fishing areas
    • Fitness corners/stations, football fields
    • Hardcourts, skate parks, and amphitheatres
    • Lawns and fields
    • Playgrounds/Nature Playgardens, including Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden
    • Other facilities such as shelters, benches, viewing towers

    Our F&B outlets in our gardens and parks are permitted to open for takeaway and dine-in for group sizes of up to 5 people. Convenience stores, retail and recreation outlets, are also permitted to open, with safe management measures following guidelines by Enterprise Singapore.

    Camping sites (including Pulau Ubin) and barbeque pits will remain closed until further notice.

    In line with the easing of restrictions on weddings, selected indoor function spaces in our parks and gardens have reopened for wedding solemnisations and receptions of up to 100 people (including the couple, but excluding the solemniser and vendors, subject to safe management measures and the venue's capacity.     Some of our parks, carparks and other facilities could be closed temporarily to ensure ample space for safe distancing or for maintenance works.

  • Temporary closure of beach volleyball court at Pasir Ris Park

  • Temporary closure of the swings at Elias Terrace Playground

    The swings at Elias Terrace Playground are closed for maintenance works till 30th November 2020.

  • Temporary closure of Toilet in Coney Island Park

    28 Aug 2020 -

    The toilet in Coney Island Park is closed for repair works till 31st January 2021. Please use the alternative toilets at Punggol Point Park or Lorong Halus Wetlands.

  • Temporary closure of main slide and swing set at Marine Cove Playground

    The main slide tower and swing set at Marine Cove's playground are closed for maintenance until 31st December 2020. Other play equipment at the playground remain open.

  • Temporary closure of playground slide at Pasir Ris Town Park

    28 Aug 2020 - 30 Nov 2020

    The playground slide at Pasir Ris Town Park is closed for maintenance work till 30th November 2020.

  • Temporary closure to section of the Serangoon Park connector (30 Sep 19 - 31 Dec 20)

    A section of the Serangoon Park Connector is closed for improvement works till 31 December 2020. Please use the alternative route along Hougang Avenue 7 and Upper Serangoon Road. 

  • Temporary closure of a section of Ulu Pandan Park Connector (along C2C Checkpoint 1 to 2)

    A section of the Ulu Pandan Park Connector (along C2C Checkpoint 1 to Checkpoint 2) is closed for improvement works till 31 Dec 2020.

  • Temporary closure of Bedok Park Connector (between East Coast Parkway and Upper East Coast Road) (1 Aug 20 to 31 Oct 20)

    Part of Bedok Park Connector (between East Coast Parkway and Upper East Coast Road) is closed for maintenance works until 31 Octoberber 2020. Please use the suggested route in the meantime. 

  • Temporary closure of TreeTop Walk

    06 Aug 2020 - 31 May 2021

    TreeTop Walk is closed for maintenance works from 11 August 2020. Works are expected to complete by May 2021. Click here for more details.
