National Parks Board

About NParks

(GRI 2-1, 2-6)

The National Parks Board (NParks) is a statutory board under the Ministry of National Development, serving as Singapore’s lead agency for greenery, biodiversity conservation, and the management of wildlife, animal health and welfare.

NParks plays an integral role in enhancing and managing Singapore’s urban ecosystems as part of our City in Nature vision, and partners closely with the community to improve the quality of our living environment.

Within NParks, the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) cluster serves as the primary point of contact for animal-related matters, and the first responder to animal-related feedback. AVS works to create an enabling environment for the veterinary and animal industries, fostering industry collaborations to continually raise animal health and welfare standards in Singapore.
