Nature Immersion Walk
Join us for a slow, mindful walk in the Singapore Botanic Gardens. This guided experience offers simple invitations to help you settle into the landscape, notice more, and ease into a quieter way of being. Along the way, gentle pauses create space to breathe and reconnect with the natural world.
Over 2 hours, attendees will be invited to:
- Discover the principles of nature immersion and its benefits for well-being
- Engage the senses to heighten awareness and perception of the natural world
- Participate in the practice of slow wandering in nature
- Immerse in the mindful observation of the natural environment
- Take part in nature-inspired reflective sharing circles
Led by an experienced and Certified Forest Therapy Guide, this walk is designed to be restorative. It offers a gentle pathway to reduce stress and nurture a sense of connection with the natural world, supporting your overall well-being.
The walk is generally suitable for all fitness levels. The pace is intentionally slow, covering minimal distance. Please prepare for a comfortable 2-hour experience in a tropical climate.
- Comfortable, appropriate clothing and shoes for walking in a humid, outdoor environment
- Water bottle for hydration
- Rain protection gear (e.g., poncho, umbrella) – session will continue in wet weather
- Sun protection gear (e.g., sunscreen, hat/cap) – session will proceed in hot conditions
- Insect repellent for personal comfort and protection
