Building on the much-loved Trees of the World tradition, Gardens-A-Glow is the Gardens’ refreshed year-end festive celebration, taking place from 5 December 2026 to 3 January 2027. With community-decorated trees, light installations, themed displays, exhibitions and activities across the Gardens, we hope it will be a time for families and friends to come together, unwind and enjoy the festive season.

At the heart of Gardens-A-Glow are the communities that help bring it to life. We would love for you to be part of the celebration by decorating a tree in the Gardens. Bring together your family, friends, or community and make the tree your own, whether through decorations that tell a story, or simply add some festive cheer.

Decoration period: 14 – 29 November 2026
Display period: 5 December 2026 –3 January 2027

If you would like to take part, please complete this registration form by 16 October 2026. Trees are limited and will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis. You will be contacted if your slot is confirmed.

We encourage the use of reusable, recycled or upcycled materials wherever possible. Tree decoration guidelines can be found here.

Participation is free. For those who would also like to support the Gardens, donations to the Garden City Fund are welcome and will go towards the Gardens’ work in education, research, conservation and community programmes. Donations can be made here.
