Step into Asuka Hishiki's cabinet of curiosity one last time as she takes you on a personal journey through "In Green", her captivating exploration of nature at the Botanical Art Gallery.
Join us for a fun afternoon with the artist herself as Asuka leads a guided tour of the exhibition, sharing the stories, observations, and quiet wonders that inspired each work. Hear firsthand how her curiousity about the natural world, from the delicate veins of a leaf to the fleeting presence of an insect, finds its way onto paper through watercolour and pencil. She will also speak about the deeper concerns woven into her practice, and why, above all, she creates: to share the beauty of nature and celebrate the simple joy of experiencing it. This is a rare opportunity to see the exhibition through the artist's own eyes before it closes its doors.
