About the exhibition
The exhibition aims to create awareness of the remarkable diversity of birds found in our compact urban Singapore. Through a collection of prints of original paintings, Shared Spaces showcases Singapore's diverse avian residents: shorebirds, wetland birds, landbirds, and migratory visitors — each serving as living evidence of the crucial interdependence between flora and fauna in our carefully nurtured green spaces.
The artist has worked in both oil and acrylic for the original paintings, photographing the birds at various locations across Singapore. The accompanying information with each print provides insights into where these species may be spotted, encouraging visitors to observe and appreciate these birds in their natural habitats.
