Some places just know how to hold you.
For centuries, the heritage trees at Fort Canning Park have offered shade to anyone who needed it. Their branches stretch wide, their bark tells stories, and if you stand still enough, you can almost feel time slow down.
We'll start near the old Fort Gate, where stone and greenery have grown together like old friends. From there, we will pause under the Ficus Tree, breathe deeply, letting the air carry away the weight of our week. and we will sit with the quiet knowledge that this ground beneath us once held the footsteps of 14th-century Singapura—a port that connected civilisations long before our time.
But this isn't a history lesson. It's a pause.
We'll walk slowly. We'll stop often, and start noticing, the dappled light on a rain tree, the different shades of foliage, the scent of the ancient garden —no rushing, no performing, no trying to get anywhere.
Forest bathing isn't about doing. It's about returning. To your breath. To your body. To the quiet part of yourself that already knows how to rest.
And when our walk is done, we'll gather for tea. Just simple cups, shared in good company—a chance to let the stillness settle a little deeper, to exchange a word or two, or to simply sit together in the quiet we've found.
Suitable for ages 16 and above. Participants will be required to bring their own mats for the session.
