Fort Canning Park has always been a place of spice. The park's very own Spice Garden stands on the grounds of Singapore's first botanical and experimental garden, established in 1822 by Sir Stamford Raffles and Dr Nathaniel Wallich— a living testament to the island's deep and fragrant relationship with the spice trade.

Now, those flavours come to life on your plate.

Join us at the elegant Lewin Terrace for a hands-on otah-otah making workshop that draws inspiration from the park's very own Spice Garden. Learn how the same spices that have shaped Fort Canning's story can be wrapped, seasoned and grilled into one of Southeast Asia's most beloved dishes.

From garden to grill, this is a taste of history you can truly savour.

Suitable for all skill levels and ages 10 and above. No prior experience needed. Children aged 12 and below must be accompanied by an adult.

A confirmation email will be sent to successful registrants. Please kindly note that registration is not on a first-come-first-serve basis. Due to overwhelming demand, priority will be given to those who have not participated in Fort Canning Park programmes before.
