HortFest 2025 - Prototype Glasshouse Tour

The Prototype Glasshouses (PGH) at HortPark were established before the opening of Gardens by the Bay (GB) as experimental structures to explore innovative horticultural practices, support plant production research and flower trials. Designed with energy-efficient and climate-responsive technologies, PGH has served as a testbed for sustainable solutions such as adaptive cooling systems and environmental controls. PGH also plays a key role in in-house plant production, especially since the Covid-19 pandemic and particularly for specialty and sub-tropical plant taxa.

1. Early registration is recommended as tour slots are limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. This registration does not guarantee a confirmed slot.

2. Only successful registrant will receive a confirmation email, otherwise the registration is unsuccessful due to full signup.

3.
