Garden Tour and Propagation Workshop: Breaking Barriers through Edible Plants

Join us for a unique and immersive workshop and garden tour led by a deaf facilitator. This interactive experience, designed by Friends of Jurong Lake Gardens, aims to break down barriers and challenge your perceptions.

What to Expect: Experience a guided garden tour where you'll rely on visual cues and intuition to understand and navigate your surroundings. The session takes place in a safe, supportive environment that encourages everyone to explore, learn and connect.

Our Approach: Immerse yourself in this collaborative learning experience. You'll discover the importance of body language, gestures and facial expressions as our facilitator uses visual aids and demonstrations to communicate effectively. Feel free to engage and ask questions through gestures or writing whilst embracing this unique opportunity.

We welcome participants with an open mind and eagerness to learn. Come prepared to think creatively and adapt to new situations as part of our inclusive group experience.

Please note that this event is open to both Deaf/HoH participants as well as hearing participants.

This activity is fully subscribed.
