Applying for a pet shop licence
Before you apply for a pet shop licence, you must attend and pass the mandatory training on pet welfare and animal management conducted by course providers recognised by us.
You can apply for the licence to operate a pet shop online through our e-licensing website GoBusiness Licensing Portal. You will need to locate the "Licence for pet shop" section and log in to GoBusiness Licensing Portal.
How to apply for a licence to operate a pet shop | |
Step 1: Complete and submit documents from these authorities in your application |
Grant of written permission (for change in use of premises) from the

(For HDB premises only) Letter of approval or no objection (for use of premises) from the Housing & Development Board (Commercial Properties Department).

ACRA certificate or company’s bio-data printout from the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA).

Step 2: Submit your personal particulars and shop layout plans |

Step 3: Have your premises inspected by us |
