| Description | The species of the abseus group differ structurally from all the other species of Arhopala in having a short white-tipped tail at vein 3 of the hindwing, besides a normal tail. The male of this species is a deep lustrous blue above, with dark borders. The underside as seen here is distinctive of the species and is quite easily distinguised from the other Arhopalas. |
