Ecology, Habitat & Location

Habitats Freshwater, Parks & Gardens, Pond
Distribution Breeds Russia, China, Korea, Japan; Breeding not recorded in South-east Asia. This shrike is widespread throughout Singapore during the winter months and can be found in many parks and gardens. Most often at the Sungei Buloah Wetland Reserve visitor centre and freshwater pond areas.
