Description and Ethnobotany

Growth Form An epiphytic orchid, it has a clumping growth form. 
Foliage The ovoid-conical to pear-shaped pseudobulbs bear 1 to 3 leaves. 
Flowers The flowers are fragrant and are borne on a long, arching raceme. The flower has yellow sepals and petals with brown tips halfway the length of the sepals and petals. The flower lip is white with a ruffled yellow margin and brown striations along the length of the lip. The laterals sides of the lip are white with a yellow margin. 
Habitat It can be found growing in open forests on trees at an altitude of up to 1000m. 
Cultivation It is best planted in well-draining media in clay or plastic pots in a warm area. Water thoroughly when the plant is undergoing active growth.
