| Foliage | Thorns are long straight with a slight curve near the tip. Young foliage is olive green with a tinge of red. Mature foliage exhibits two different types of variegation pattern. Type 1 has irregular variegation of creamy yellow and shades of green; type 2 has regular variegation of shades of green in the centre near to midrib and creamy yellow on the margin. |
