The Nature Kakis Network is an initiative made up of community-driven chapters that serve as touchpoints across Singapore. Chris, the Nature Kakis lead for Punggol Coast Chapter, works closely with his team to organise nature-related activities for residents to grow an appreciation for our local biodiversity through nature guided walks, wildlife education, and community animal management.
Community in Bloom (CIB) has over 2,000 community gardening groups across Singapore, with more than 48,000 gardening enthusiasts from all walks of life. Felicia, a CIB Ambassador at The Giving Garden @ Kim Tian West, embodies the spirit of passion and horticultural excellence. As an active volunteer leader, she leads gardening projects and activities for the community including eco-printing and composting! Felicia has also expanded her volunteer engagement as a Nature Kakis steward in the Tanjong Pagar-Tiong Bahru chapter, helping to bring City in Nature activities like therapeutic horticulture and guided nature walks to the community/ heartlands.
