Highlights

The school holidays are here again, a great time to connect with loved ones! There is plenty to see and do together with friends and family on our little island – Jurong Lake Gardens alone promises a fun-filled day out for everyone, both young and young at heart.

At the same time, it’s important to connect with yourself. Take a break from urban living by enjoying me-time immersed in greenery. Being out and about in a park, garden or nature reserve lets you recharge your senses and connect with nature as well. Spotting the flash of colour from a kingfisher flying overhead or hearing the rustling of a skink amidst the grass are lovely reminders of the abundance of nature that lives alongside us, in our City in Nature.

If your curiosity’s piqued and you want to learn more about Singapore’s biodiversity, you can always visit our NParks Buzz microsite and NParksSG YouTube channel. When experiencing the beauty of our City in Nature first-hand at your nearest green space, do keep safe and check for the latest advisories on the COVID-19 situation at www.nparks.gov.sg/noticeboard.
