Additional requirements for commercial importers

If you are importing dogs or cats for commercial purposes, you must fulfil these requirements in addition to the steps listed in the previous sections.

Pet shop licence

In order to import dogs and cats for commercial purposes, you must first obtain a pet shop licence.

Customs clearance permit

You may refer to procedures and requirements set out by the Singapore Customs for the importation of animals for commercial purposes.
